2016 Finalist. Derya Aksu uses her voice for kindness, her eyes for compassion, her hands for charity, her mind for truth and her heart for love. She is an early childhood teacher and is a strong believer of the quote “Children are our future”. Being an educator is one of the most satisfying roles she plays in her life. Her family members build the foundation of important values in her life, which are honesty, integrity, love, modesty and culture. Her passion is to become an ambassador to create world awareness of child poverty and universal education for young people.
