Gael has a compassionate, focused personality with a hunger to learn about others. Her concern about the less fortunate in society both here and abroad has driven her to travel overseas to witness the lives of others in societies different from her own. Being of Indonesian heritage, she has visited several areas within Indonesia to experience and appreciate the diversity of religion, beliefs and ethnic cultures of which there are many and understand the hardships and joys they face. Currently studying fashion and textiles Gael wishes to eventually pursue her career in ethical fashion sourcing environmentally sustainable fabrics and manufacturing techniques whilst valuing the rights of workers.
