Nena Murad is an energetic, active and determined young women whose ethnic Kurdish roots motivates her activism for ‘Human Rights’ for all. Nena strives tirelessly in her community to bring the plight of the Kurdish people to the International stage. In her final year of a double degree to become a Teacher, Nena believes that education is the best pathway to peace. She believes in teaching our generation to embrace tolerance and respect for others, with a thorough understanding that only unity will progress our social constructs more peacefully. Her motto in life-“Education is the richest form of currency”
